Delegations from Qatar, Türkiye, and US Arrive in Egypt for New Round of Gaza Ceasefire Talks

Hamas also demands clarity on the mechanisms and procedures required to implement the US "20-point plan" and seeks guarantees that Israel will not re-invade Gaza. Furthermore, Egypt has begun discussions with Hamas regarding the list of Palestinian detainees to be released from Israeli prisons according to the exchange agreement.

The new round of Gaza ceasefire talks took place on the 6th and 7th in the coastal city of Sharm El-Sheikh in northern Egypt and are expected to continue on the 8th.
