On September 7th, Tesla launched an official Weibo account named "TeslaAI," verified as the "Official Tesla Account," and posted its first Weibo showcasing its humanoid robot.

Tesla released two photos of the humanoid robot with the caption: "I've been working hard to improve my figure."

Referring to the pictures, the robot bears the Tesla logo and features a light gold/black color scheme overall. It is likely the previously revealed "Optimus Gen 3 humanoid robot."

Previous information indicated that this robot also has bionically designed hands, complete with realistic details like skin folds, nail outlines, and joint lines, showing significant improvement compared to the hands of the first two generations of Optimus.

Regarding humanoid robots, Musk has stated that he expects the prototype of the third version of the Optimus humanoid robot to be unveiled by the end of this year, with mass production starting in 2026, aiming for an annual production of one million Optimus robots within five years.

Earlier this month, Tesla released "Master Plan Part 4" (referred to as "MP4"), signaling a major strategic shift in Tesla's future development plan: a comprehensive move from electric vehicles and energy to the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics.

According to the introduction of Master Plan Part 4, over the past nearly two decades, Tesla has accumulated relentless technological expertise through developing electric vehicles, energy products, and bionic robots. As the influence of artificial intelligence technology grows increasingly, the "next chapter" of Tesla's story will be "creating products and services that integrate AI into the real world," which will create a "sustainable future of abundance." Regarding how to achieve Master Plan Part 4, Musk stated on social media that Full Self-Driving (autonomous driving) and the Optimus robot will be the company's most important priorities, and in the future, about 80% of Tesla's value will come from the Optimus robot.
