China-Saudi Arabia Government-Business Cooperation Dialogue Successfully Held in Beijing
On August 26, the China-Saudi Arabia Government-Business Cooperation Dialogue was held in Beijing. Ren Hongbin, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
Ren Hongbin stated that under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Saudi Arabia has been continuously deepened, with fruitful results in practical cooperation across various fields. He called on the business communities of both countries to further promote the expansion and upgrading of trade cooperation, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in the investment sector, and strengthen industrial and supply chain collaboration.
Al-Falih introduced cooperation opportunities between the two countries, noting that Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" highly aligns with China's "Belt and Road" initiative. He expressed hope that enterprises from both countries would, on the basis of consolidating traditional trade, work together to advance energy transformation, digital innovation, and manufacturing upgrades, while jointly maintaining the stability of global industrial and value chains.
Relevant enterprises from China and Saudi Arabia engaged in face-to-face exchanges, conducting in-depth discussions on major project cooperation, industrial chain integration, and investment opportunities.
