MIIT Organizes the Collection of Typical AI Empowerment Application Scenarios for SMEs for the Year 2025


The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is organizing the collection of typical AI empowerment application scenarios for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for the year 2025. The collection focus includes AI-empowered "innovative products and services" for SMEs. The scenarios should highlight how SMEs use AI technology to achieve breakthrough innovations, develop forward-looking new products and services, drive fundamental upgrades in business models through technology, promote significant changes in operational models and development paths, and open up new commercial spaces. Specific examples include but are not limited to:

① Intelligent Products. These involve advanced AI technologies with capabilities such as autonomous perception, deep learning, independent decision-making, and interactive feedback, targeting future innovative scenarios. Examples of physical products include: smart industrial robots, intelligent inspection vehicles, smart warehousing and logistics equipment, smart home devices, wearable smart devices, smart education hardware, and smart medical health monitoring devices. Virtual products include: AI-driven intelligent software, vertical large models (fine-tuned large models), content creation platforms, smart tools, and agents.

② Intelligent Services. These refer to various new types of services provided externally based on AI technology, as well as innovative business models driven by AI. Examples include: AI-based detection and consulting services, predictive maintenance services for equipment using "product + data + AI models," intelligent risk control and robo-advisory services, smart supply chain services, intelligent office tools, and other AI-driven services for industries such as industrial, financial, government affairs, medical, and consumer sectors.
