Multiple Parties Jointly Condemn Israeli PM's "Greater Israel" Remarks

On the 15th local time, foreign ministers from 31 Arab and Islamic countries, along with the secretaries-general of the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Gulf Cooperation Council, issued a joint statement strongly condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent remarks regarding the vision of a "Greater Israel." The statement said the Israeli PM's comments constitute a disregard for and violation of international law, posing a direct threat to the security of Arab nations, state sovereignty, and regional and international security and peace.

The statement called on the international community, particularly the permanent members of the UN Security Council—especially the United States—to uphold their legal and moral responsibilities and take immediate action to compel Israel to halt its ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip and the dangerous escalation of its operations in the West Bank.

According to Israeli media interpretations, the so-called "Greater Israel" refers to the territories that included Israel and the lands it occupied after the June 1967 Six-Day War, namely the Sinai Peninsula, the Golan Heights, the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem.
