
China, Russia, and Mongolia Sign Tourism Cooperation Development Plan for the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route"
The 9th Tourism Ministerial Meeting of China, Russia, and Mongolia was held on the 7th in Darkhan, Mongolia. During the meeting, the three parties jointly signed the "China-Russia-Mongolia 'Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route' Tourism Cooperation Development Plan (2025-2026)."
Representatives from the tourism departments and relevant associations of the three countries attended the meeting. According to the aforementioned plan signed by the three parties, they will explore the cultural and economic value of the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route," strengthen tourism cooperation related to the route, and promote the sustainable development of regional tourism. Specific measures include jointly developing and promoting tourism routes and sites along the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route," launching a cross-border self-drive tourism brand for the route connecting China, Russia, and Mongolia, and enhancing the convenience of cross-border tourism along the route.
Activities such as the China-Russia-Mongolia Travel Business Negotiation Meeting, a thematic exhibition on the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route," and the launch ceremony for the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route" self-drive tour were also held during the conference, attracting dozens of cultural tourism enterprises and tourism associations from the three countries.
The "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route" is a historical tea trade route starting from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province, China, extending as far as St. Petersburg, Russia, and passing through China, Russia, and Mongolia. In recent years, the three countries have been actively working to continuously expand tourism cooperation related to the "Ten-Thousand Mile Tea Route."
