Trump Responds to Crash of Two US Military Aircraft in South China Sea

BEIJING, Oct. 28 (China News Service) -- According to a report by Fox News on the 27th (local time), US President Donald Trump stated that he is aware of the crash of two US military aircraft in the South China Sea. He said he does not believe the incident was caused by sabotage, suggesting that poor fuel quality might be the issue.

According to the report, while on Air Force One, Trump was asked by reporters about the crash of the two military aircraft in the South China Sea. He responded, "Yes, I heard about it."

Trump added, "They will be telling me about it soon. I think they will be able to figure it out (the cause of the accident). It might be bad fuel."

He also stated that "it's very unusual for this to happen," but he does not believe it was an act of sabotage.

As previously reported, the US Navy stated on the 26th (local time) that a Navy fighter jet and a helicopter had crashed in the South China Sea. All crew members from both aircraft were safely rescued.
