In the early hours of Monday local time, the satellite internet service "Starlink," owned by the world’s richest man Elon Musk, experienced another network service outage, affecting tens of thousands of users in the United States.

Starlink’s official website reported the outage earlier on Monday but did not provide further details. “Starlink is currently experiencing a service outage. Our team is investigating,” the website stated.

Starlink, operated by Musk’s SpaceX, provides internet services through a vast network of low Earth orbit satellites and is widely used in remote and conflict-affected areas.

At the end of last month, Starlink announced that its global user base had exceeded 7 million, with services available in over 150 countries and regions worldwide.

However, amid its rapid expansion, concerns about the stability of Starlink are growing, especially given the high fees customers pay for the service.

In just the past two months, Starlink has experienced three service outages, occurring on August 18 and July 24. During the large-scale outage on July 24, the network disruption lasted for several hours, affecting approximately 61,000 users globally.
