The 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will be held from September 8 to 11 in Xiamen, Fujian Province. All preparations are currently in place. With confidence in "Investing in China," delegations from over 120 countries and regions will participate.
At a press conference held on the afternoon of the 6th, Yu Guangsheng, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce, stated that as China's only major national-level exhibition focused on investment, the event is themed "Joining Hands with China to Invest in the Future." The total exhibition area is 120,000 square meters, and over 100 investment promotion activities will be held, aiming to make it a landmark event for "Investing in China" and an important service platform for two-way investment promotion.
The fair will host multinational company seminars, dialogues between renowned private enterprises and Fortune 500 companies, and over 30 specialized investment promotion events, showcasing the vitality and opportunities of "Investing in China" in an all-round and multi-dimensional manner.
Yu Hao, Deputy Director of the Conference Affairs Department of the CIFIT Organizing Committee, introduced that the exhibition will feature booths centered around three major sections: "Investing in China," "China Investment," and "International Investment." The "Investing in China" section will include dedicated zones for provincial and municipal promotions, financial capital matchmaking, industrial park matchmaking, "Leading China: Emerging Industries," and "Investment Hotspot Cities." The "China Investment" section will feature zones for China's outward investment cooperation, "Green China," and green innovation. The "International Investment" section will include zones for global cooperation, international investment services, new productive forces, and international cooperation for specialized and innovative SMEs.
British Trade Commissioner to China, John Edwards, stated at the press conference that as the guest country of honor at this year's CIFIT, the UK national pavilion will cover an area of 400 square meters, with over 100 companies participating.
"This is the largest UK participation in the history of CIFIT," Edwards said. "CIFIT is very important for British companies, including sectors such as financial services and advanced manufacturing, all of which highly value this participation."
