Ministry of Commerce: This Year’s CIFIT to Host China-U.S. Subnational Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Event

At 3:00 PM on August 26, the State Council Information Office held a press conference. Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy International Trade Representative Ling Ji, Fujian Provincial Vice Governor Wang Jinfu, Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce Liu Minqiang, and Xiamen Municipal Vice Mayor Lin Zhicheng attended to introduce details about the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) and answer questions from journalists.

Ling Ji revealed that the guest country of honor for this year’s CIFIT is the United Kingdom. The UK will send a delegation of nearly 200 members, including government officials, businesses, and associations, to participate and host a series of exchange events. It is worth noting that this year’s CIFIT will also feature a China-U.S. subnational economic and trade cooperation exchange event.

It is reported that this year’s CIFIT will be held from September 8 to 11 in Xiamen, Fujian Province. CIFIT is China’s only national-level major exhibition focused on investment and is also a flagship event for "Invest in China."
