CSA Holds Mid-Year Work Conference of the Board Secretaries Professional Committee

　　The mid-year work conference of the Board Secretaries Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) of the China Association of Public Companies (CSA) was held in Beijing on August 22 in a hybrid format (online and on-site). The meeting was chaired by Du Chunye, Director of the Committee, Vice President and Board Secretary of Postal Savings Bank of China. Yu Hui, Party Committee Member and Vice President of the Association, attended the conference and delivered a speech.

　　The conference invited Fu Yanchao, Section Chief of the First Division of the Listed Company Supervision Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and Dong Wenyuan, Deputy Director of the Administrative Penalty Committee Office, to interpret the latest regulatory policies and cases of violations by listed companies. Fu Yanchao focused on the highlights and issues in the production and operation of listed companies, providing an in-depth analysis of the significance of dividends for investors and listed companies, as well as the relevant regulatory policy requirements. He also emphasized that listed companies should enhance sustainable information disclosure and avoid making low-level errors in disclosure. Dong Wenyuan presented an overview of administrative penalties for illegal information disclosure by listed companies in 2024, highlighting new characteristics and trends in enforcement efforts. Through a series of vivid and typical cases, she thoroughly analyzed the severe consequences and legal liabilities of illegal information disclosure.
