The survey also showed that most interns are interested in owning humanoid robots, which are robots designed to mimic human appearance and behavior, specifically referring to types with a physique similar to humans. However, respondents were cautious about their impact on society.

Over 60% of US interns and 69% of European interns expressed interest in having a humanoid robot at home. Respondents from both regions believe that robots will have "viable use cases" and replace many human jobs.

Nevertheless, only 36% of US interns and 24% of European interns believe that humanoid robots will have a positive impact on society.

Morgan Stanley estimates that by 2050, sales in the humanoid robot market will exceed $5 trillion, including sales from supply chains and repair, maintenance, and support networks.

The investment banking giant stated in a report this May: "Although humanoid robots are still in the development stage, their numbers could exceed 1 billion by 2050, with 90% being used for industrial and commercial purposes."
