Shanghai Disneyland: Additional Mid-Tier Price Categories to Be Added from Mid-October, Providing Guests with More Pricing Options

On August 25, Shanghai Disney Resort announced that starting from mid-October, to provide more flexible options for guests planning to visit Shanghai Disneyland, additional mid-tier price categories will be introduced within the current price range of RMB 475 to RMB 799.

Shanghai Disney Resort stated that from mid-October, Shanghai Disneyland will optimize its ticket structure by adding more mid-tier price categories to the existing six-tier pricing system, offering guests more choices. Meanwhile, the resort continues to develop innovative products and refine its ticketing system to better meet consumers' travel habits. It is reported that by reducing the price gaps between adjacent tiers in the current pricing structure, the new multi-tier pricing system will further provide guests with more pricing options while helping the resort effectively balance annual guest flow distribution based on attendance forecasts, thereby optimizing the guest experience to a greater extent.

In the optimized ticket structure, the base price and the highest price will remain unchanged at RMB 475 and RMB 799, respectively. Shanghai Disney Resort will determine daily ticket tiers based on forecasted attendance and continue to offer a 30-day rolling price calendar to allow guests to plan their visits in advance.

To allow guests to fully enjoy their autumn journey, the resort will also launch more ticket products. Guests can purchase the Shanghai Tourism Festival Exclusive—Afternoon Ticket, which allows entry to Shanghai Disneyland after 15:00 on selected dates between September 13 and September 19, 2025, to enjoy the beauty of autumn.

Shanghai Disney Resort also mentioned that this autumn, the resort will host a series of exciting events. From Duffy's "Fun New Tricks" Month in September and the highly anticipated return of the Shanghai Dialect Special Edition show to Halloween festivities in October, the new pirate-themed experience in Treasure Cove, and the extended eight-day "Halloween Carnival Days," and from the Shanghai Tourism Festival in September to the National Day Golden Week and Mid-Autumn Festival in October, guests will have multiple opportunities to explore the resort's diverse experiences. To celebrate the National Day holiday, from October 1 to 3, a special castle projection and fireworks show will be performed each night after the iconic "Illuminate! A Nighttime Celebration."
