① The three major U.S. stock indices closed mixed: the Dow rose 0.08% to 44,946.12, the S&P 500 fell 0.29% to 6,449.8, and the Nasdaq dropped 0.4% to 21,622.98.

② Major tech stocks were mixed: Google (+0.47%), Meta (+0.4%), Amazon (+0.02%), Microsoft (-0.44%), Apple (-0.51%), Nvidia (-0.86%), Tesla (-1%+).

③ Most China-concept stocks rose: Xunlei (+26%+), Hesai Technology (+10% near), NIO (+8% near), Daqo New Energy (+8% near), Canadian Solar (+7%+). Losers included Newegg (-21%+), Qifu Technology (-4%+), Lianzhong Portal (-4%+).

④ European stocks closed mixed: Germany’s DAX (-0.07% to 24,359.3), France’s CAC40 (+0.67% to 7,923.45), UK’s FTSE 100 (-0.42% to 9,138.9).

⑤ Precious metals futures mostly fell: COMEX gold (-0.04% to $3,381.70/oz, -3.14% weekly), COMEX silver (-0.13% to $38.02/oz, -1.35% weekly).

⑥ WTI crude (-1.28% to $63.14/barrel, -1.16% weekly); Brent crude (-1.05% to $66.14/barrel, -0.68% weekly).

⑦ At the New York close, the U.S. dollar index fell 0.36% to 97.8509, while offshore CNY weakened 68 bps to 7.1891 against the dollar.

⑧ LME base metals mostly declined: Zinc (-1.83% to $2,796.50/ton, -1.08% weekly), Aluminum (-0.63% to $2,603/ton, -0.23% weekly), Lead (-0.43% to $1,981/ton, -1.32% weekly), Copper (-0.06% to $9,760/ton, -0.02% weekly). Tin (+0.44% to $33,610/ton, -0.04% weekly), Nickel (+1.09% to $15,195/ton, +0.26% weekly).

⑨ U.S. Treasury yields rose: 2-year (+1.60 bps to 3.740%), 3-year (+2.79 bps to 3.725%), 5-year (+1.90 bps to 3.834%), 10-year (+3.11 bps to 4.318%), 30-year (+4.46 bps to 4.917%).

⑩ European bond yields climbed: UK 10-year (+5.7 bps to 4.694%), France 10-year (+9.6 bps to 3.466%), Germany 10-year (+7.7 bps to 2.786%), Italy 10-year (+9.9 bps to 3.586%), Spain 10-year (+8.6 bps to 3.348%).
