On July 25, AITO successfully completed its first full-process road rescue case based on satellite eCall technology. From receiving the satellite phone distress signal to the final resolution, the AITO rescue team demonstrated rapid response and efficient coordination throughout the entire process. The vehicle's satellite communication provided precise positioning, fully showcasing the powerful performance of the AITO M9's intelligent technology in extreme scenarios and the reliability of AITO's service support system.
The rescue took place in a remote high-altitude area approximately 100 kilometers south of Delingha City, Qinghai Province. The user was stranded due to a tire blowout while driving, with no cellular signal available for both the mobile phone and the vehicle's system at the scene.
In this critical moment, the owner initiated a one-touch SOS request via the vehicle's satellite eCall function. The accurate longitude and latitude information enabled the AITO road rescue call center to immediately pinpoint the accident location and activate an emergency response plan. Five rescue technicians set out from Delingha City, carrying supplies, satellite communication devices, and tire repair equipment. They traversed three mountains and 100 kilometers of unpaved roads over 3.5 hours to reach the site. During the journey, the rescue team maintained a 61-minute satellite voice call with the owner, providing real-time updates on the rescue progress.
Upon arrival, despite the harsh conditions of high-altitude hypoxia and恶劣climate, the rescue team promptly initiated emergency tire repair measures. After eight hours of effort, they successfully repaired the damaged tire and safely escorted the owner and their companions to a nearby hotel.
