Qatari Emir Discusses Doha Attack Incident with Egyptian Foreign Minister
On September 11 local time, Qatari Emir (Head of State) Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held talks with visiting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in the capital Doha, focusing on the Israeli attack on senior leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Doha on the 9th.
Shoukry emphasized that Egypt opposes any actions that undermine Qatar's security, stability, and sovereignty, condemning the Israeli attack on Doha and stating that Israel's actions violate international law. He reiterated Egypt's support for Qatar.
On the 9th, the Israeli Defense Forces and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) issued a statement claiming a "precision strike" against senior leaders of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Doha. The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on the 10th that the attack resulted in at least 6 deaths and several injuries.
