On August 14, the Shanghai Composite Index broke through 3,700 points during the session, with stablecoin concept stocks leading the gains.
Among popular ETFs, as of 10:30 AM, the ChinaAMC FinTech ETF (516100) rose 3.01%. Stocks such as Hengbao Co., Ltd., Zhongke Finance, and Jingbeifang hit the limit-up, while Sifang Jingchuang surged over 16%. Digital Certification, Tianyang Tech, Lakala, and Dongxin Peace were among the top gainers. The Brokerage ETF Fund (515010) climbed 1.55%.
The ChinaAMC FinTech ETF (516100) tracks the CSI FinTech Theme Index, covering software development, internet finance, and the digital currency industry chain, combining both financial and technological attributes. The index’s top holdings include industry leaders like Tonghuashun, East Money, Hundsun Electronics, Runhe Software, and Compass, as well as popular stablecoin concept stocks like Lakala, Jingbeifang, and Sifang Jingchuang. Wind data shows that stablecoin-related stocks account for over 22% of the ETF’s holdings.
Xiangcai Securities stated that with sustained market activity, the brokerage sector’s performance and valuation continue to recover. Meanwhile, active equity funds’ allocations to brokerages remain underweight compared to benchmark indices, suggesting potential incremental capital inflows. The firm maintains an "overweight" rating on the securities industry and recommends focusing on internet brokers with strong beta attributes amid high market activity.
Puyin International noted that in the long term, as regulatory frameworks improve, stablecoins are expected to gain a larger share in international payments.
East Money Securities pointed out that RWA (Real World Assets) is transitioning from concept to practical applications. Investors are advised to monitor institutions with licenses for virtual asset trading and brokerages expanding into virtual asset-related businesses.
