Xi'an Holds Forum for Real Estate Self-Media, Advocating Against Exaggeration and Emotional Speculation
According to a July 26 announcement on the "Xi'an Housing and Construction" WeChat public account, on July 25, the Xi'an Cyberspace Administration, Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Education Bureau, Market Supervision Bureau, and Public Security Bureau jointly held a forum for self-media platforms in the real estate sector and issued a joint initiative.
The meeting proposed the following initiatives:

Uphold the principle of information authenticity: Strengthen content scrutiny to ensure published information comes from authoritative, truthful, accurate, and verifiable sources. Avoid quoting out of context or making sweeping generalizations, and refrain from publishing fabricated, falsified, or unverified information.

Avoid exaggeration and emotional speculation: Approach the current market adjustment cycle with rational, calm, and professional perspectives, steering clear of overly emotional or even malicious interpretations.

Promote collaborative governance of information: Continuously improve regular communication mechanisms with self-media platforms by providing authoritative data, policy background materials, and research findings. Expand channels for authoritative information dissemination and proactively address public concerns.
The meeting emphasized that self-media has gradually become a vital part of social communication, playing a positive role in invigorating Xi'an's real estate market, promoting policies, supervising
administrative actions, fostering positive narratives, boosting market confidence, and supporting the stable and healthy development of the real estate sector. Regulatory authorities should enhance communication with self-media platforms, seek mutual understanding, and build consensus to create a constructive and healthy public opinion environment.
