Trump Hosts Wall Street Elite at Dinner Today!
According to a U.S. government official, President Donald Trump will hold a private dinner at the White House on Wednesday (November 12), inviting chief executive officers and top corporate executives from financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase and Nasdaq.
Multiple media reports indicate that JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon is among the invitees, and Nasdaq Chairman and CEO Adena Friedman will also be invited to attend.
This gathering highlights Trump's attempt to strengthen ties with business leaders to secure support for his policies from domestic corporate elites. Currently, the Trump administration is rolling out a series of new initiatives aimed at strengthening U.S. capital markets and rebuilding critical domestic supply chains deemed vital to national security.
His ambitious economic plan primarily includes expanding domestic production, relocating key industries back to the U.S., and leveraging private-sector investment to consolidate America's position in high-tech manufacturing and energy supply chains.
It is worth noting that last month, JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank in the U.S., announced a ten-year, $1.5 trillion investment plan aimed at supporting industries critical to U.S. national security and economic resilience. These include supply chains and manufacturing, defense and aerospace, energy independence, and cutting-edge technologies.
Under this plan, the bank will deploy up to $10 billion of its own capital through direct equity and venture capital investments into U.S. companies deemed crucial to national security and economic recovery.
